"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi : Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "Heaven on Earth. The Maison de Marquay is the heart of the Dordogne. It is the most pleasant hotel I have ever stayed in. It is tiny and you are a member of a very close nit family headed by Marie-Laure and Gerard who make sure you are supremely well cared for. There is absolute privacy if you wish or delightful company if you choose. The hotel is not as old as it appears but is filled with beautiful antiques and charm. Marie-Laure and Gerard rebuilt the Maison to their high standards...
