DO not go here. They harbor an older crazy guy who harasses others who stay there, who stays long term. Will not kick him out for harassing me with tasers in middle of the night twice within a 3 day period. SO much more happened too. AM filing lawsuits against them for negligence, assault and harassment.

This is a quaint stay that has everything you need. I was happily surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. The location is incredibly close to popular trails and attractions we could walk or reach anything we needed within a 5 minute car ride. Special shout out to property manager David, he was incredibly attentive and helpful.

The rooms were clean but could be updated. The walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors in the next room. The staff were very friendly. If you are looking for an affordable room I would recommend this place. It’s not fancy but it was good for the trip.

No hot water the first night, black hair in the bathtub and I am a blonde and the room was filthy. I think it basically got completely skipped from prior guests. I even left a day early very nice staff that helped as much as they could with the hot water and as quickly as they could. And I do understand that the electricity goes off a lot in Big Bear and then you have to flip a switch but he had said the electricity went off a whole day prior and they should have known. But this is also I think which you get when you look for the least expensive room. But it could have been clean

Not worth the money. Should’ve spent $20 and stayed at a decent place. The toiled didn’t flush, the room has all windows closed with 3 cheap fans spinning the hot stuffy air inside the room. Couldn’t even sleep so weird the place felt. All the decoration was crooked and or out of place. Just terrible. If it was $70/night it’s be good, but at $180, I’ll never come back.

I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.

They upgraded us to one of the nicer sweets that had a full kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a bed with a separate bathroom, all for well under $200 a night. You can use the amenities at both of their properties, they have a heated pool at one of them. Rooms were great, the only thing I would ask for would be a king size bed, because the biggest beds that were available were Queens. We brought a Roku stick and hung out in the room for quite some time, cuz they had a nice couch too. 9/10 because no king available but it was memorial Day weekend, so you can't really beat that.
