「This is my third stay here, and my first in one of the outbuildings. Despite my stated wish to be in the main building, I was assured I would love my upgraded room. I didn't. I had a huge lovely bedroom and bathroom, with no closet. The closet was in a second bedroom which room, as a solo traveler, was of no use to me. Both that room and the bathroom had a step down which I found annoying/dangerous. However, everything else was lovely. Breakfast buffet and related service was great, dinner was...

「We stayed in a room that had a shower over the bath, quite a step to get out, we feel a bath mat should be provided. The towels are lovely and big, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows need replacing. Nice place to stay as it’s an easy walk into town. Yes we would stay here again.」

「Great location with plenty of parking and comfy rooms. Bar area is very relaxing. However breakfast is a bit chaotic. For the second visit in a row, the coffee machines are not working properly so there's a long queue and frustration. Two domestic toasters but the bread was far too large to fit and resulted in many pieces of burnt toast.」

My only complaint was the door of my room was stiff and had a really quirky lock. It was very difficult to open. Also stairs need new carpet.」
