Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen und das Frühstück, welches aus bestellbaren warmen Gerichten und kontinentalem Frühstück in Buffetform besteht, ist vielseitig und sehr gut. Die Lage ist toll, man befindet sich an einem Park am höchsten Punkt der Stadt. Bis ins Zentrum sind es nur wenige Minuten.」

「Amazing themed rooms, very clean m with crisp white cotton sheets, and very comfy bed and pillows. Powerful shower and fluffy towels. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order , very hot and tasty. Staff could not have been more helpful, requested more tea and milk sachets, bought to our room with 5 mins and asked if we would prefer fresh milk! Lady serving breakfast was lovely, very helpful and friendly Definitely stay here again 」

「I stayed two night's at the Russell Hotel. Absolutely no complaints, staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable accommodation. The building itself is old and quaint, within easy walking distance from the town centre. My room was at the very top of the building, my stay was during a heatwave, the hotel doesn't have aircon so the room was very hot, so sleep was difficult. I asked for a fan, but it had already been given to another guest. So perhaps the owners could...

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
