Looking north from A4135 This bridleway, part of the Macmillan Way, is Chavenage Lane and heads north from the A4135 towards Chavenage House. It is easy walking, lined with mature trees such as this horse chestnut.

Beverston Castle The castle was founded by Maurice de Gaunt in 1229. In the early 14th century, Thomas, Lord Berkeley remodelled the castle. It was slighted during the civil war. the room was super nice, spacious, clean and cozy. There were various choices for the buffet breakfast which is out of our expectation. We will definitively come back if we visit bath again. Thanks again Gemma for welcoming us.
