"Couldn’t find a better place to stay in Fremantle. Location is unbeatable. Rooms and amenities, spotless. Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. We opted for a cooked breakfast which was fresh and delicious. Everything at your fingertips."

"Booked an overnight room really quickly without really reading description, suddenly dreaded I’d booked something terrible, however upon arrival I realised it actually wasn’t that bad. We had a basic room, there were 4 single beds, draws and a ceiling fan that was it. Toilets were across the hall. There is a communal living area with sofas, tv, dining table, large fridge freezer, microwave and tea making facilities for everyone to use. Free secure parking at back. Building is old and some signs of damp but didn’t smell bad and fairly clean. Actually slept quite well and would consider returning. There is a great Mexican restaurant downstairs. Ferry terminal is across the road and train bus terminal only couple mins walk away. My only suggestions to make stay better is some handsoap and paper towels in toilet, shower head could do with replacing in women’s shower it sprayed every way but down, and rear doors from beer garden smells of urine. "

"I liked that they provided a chair to put in shower cubicle for me to hold on to. I did not like that the bathroom was very old-fashioned. There was no grab rail. It did not have the new type of shower head that is detachable to wash hard to reach places. The grout was grubby on the floor.It was also discoloured around the shower hob. The continental breakfast was very expensive. The coffee machine only made luke warm coffee. The cooked breakfasts were okay but not good value for money. We were given a very small room facing the highway and we could hear the traffic noise. The couch was placed at right angles to the TV and gave us sore necks if we tried to watch TV while sitting on it. The cleaning staff neglected to collect rubbish eg I left newspapers and used tissues etc lying on the floor near the entrance to our room and they left it there."

"Lovely hotel. However I was charged twice for the stay. Once from Expedia which was correct and once by the hotel. After 10days of chasing the hotel I am still waiting a reply."

"Staff, service and food were AMAZING. The room is a classic pub room, unfortunately ours had a pretty strong bad smell, and the shower was incredibly difficult to regulate the temperature. The bed was pretty comfy and the place was really clean. Had a coffee machine, milk, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer."
