Everything was perfect. The location is steps away from the train station connecting to AlexanderPlatz and other locations. There were good restaurants nearby. The self-checkin/checkout process was smooth and the room was super clean and had an excellent view from the window.

This was a great location for us, we attended concerts at Parkbühne Wuhlheide. Easy train access, supermarket on the corner, and coffee shop downstairs. Apartment was large enough for 2 people, easy to use stove to make breakfast. The small fridge was big enough to store our food and lots of water. If we needed anything, we just send a message and they would respond right away.

definitely a smoke smell. not that strongly but impossible to miss as you walk into the room and more obvious in curtains etc next to the window. self check-in. probably faster than through a person but a bit of a hassle with the tablet not being that responsive. room otherwise clean, easy to reach, small cafe / convenience store right next door.

Smartments Berlin Karlshorst is for those who travel on a budget. I travel a lot and prefer to stay in apartment hotels. I think this hotel is one of the best in this category. A minute walk to the public transport, 10-15 minutes ride to the city center. The hotel is clean, the staff is very helpful ( special thanks to Ms.Pilar), rooms are cozy and if you need extra supplies, there is a room for that on every floor. Yes, I recommend this hotel, and when again in Berlin will stay at Smartments Berlin Karlshorst.
