It is located in the high Bergamo old city. A beautiful family owned city Palace with 4 guestrooms. Authentic and lovely. Breakfast was quite good and they had purchased some gluten free toast and biscuits for us.thry were very friendly and accomodating.
Breakfast was fabulous. Excellent for the construction outside on the street. Which is not the fault of the property. The rooms and property itself are amazing. Great access to snacks and wine (for a fee) and worth every penny IMO
À room in a palace. Beautiful room and stunning breakfast room. Breakfast excellent. Aleesandra and Barbara very helpful and friendly.
More comfortable seating in the bedroom and wider selection of condiments would also be appreciated.
What a delightful find of a hotel. It’s a converted historic mansion in the perfect location, with only a few rooms. Our suite was handsomely sized and well equipped, it had sweeping views of the lower city. There are not many high-end accommodations in Bergamo, so we decided to on this hotel. It’s not the kind of over the top luxury that we are used to at the normal five star hotels. But this intimate hotel is a standout and in a category of its own. It’s not something that you can rate with stars, the hospitality you receive here is from the heart. The space is beautiful, authentic and they care for you like family.
The hotel looked like a museum with all of the statues, incredible chandeliers, mosaic tile floors and artwork lining the hallways. I love how the hotel was very historic but the spa was very contemporary. The room was good for sleeping, dark and quiet, although the pillows were not great and the mattress was harder than I find comfortable. Wonderful amenities and location. Truly the grandest of the hotels along the lake.
Fabulous! A truly gorgeous property that is clearly deeply loved by its owner and proprietor. Thoughtful details and recent renovation made it comfortable and the design, history and uniqueness made it a pleasure to behold. Barbara and the staff are warm, helpful and kind. Why stay at a hotel when you could stay here??
What a wonderful place to stay in Bergamo. The Palazzo Ridici is a true treasure and gem filled with the most beautiful furnishings, finishes and fixtures. It was superb!! Treat yourself to a lovely stay here.
