"Rooms are a bit on the small size but adequate for myself and wife and 4 bags. The restaurant was available for lunch and dinner and was truly excellent. The breakfast was decent but not special. The staff was excellent. One negative was the shower - it was clean and modern and fully functional however the shower water temperature was not steady - it would with no warning change from comfortable to freezing cold to scalding hot in seconds. Made showering an unwanted adventure."

"We had a wonderful stay at Tailormade Hotel Rüden in Schaffhausen. The front desk staff were exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was world-class, with an impressive selection and outstanding quality. "This is another boutique Swiss Hotel. No air conditioning. And it was hot. They removed the bar fridge so we could not even keep some cold drinks. They claim of Eco reasons fails if you are hot and can not sleep. We could not stay in the room long so we spent more time down on the river where it was cooled. I would never book a hotel again with out air condition in the summer. And be careful of what you get from a Boutique hotel. Breakfast was limited. Wifi was a problem. They had limits on...

"A straightforward automated check in at a machine by the entrance door to about two minutes. The hotel is clean and has a modern feel inside an old railway station building. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and well equipped. Be careful in the shower though - I found the shower tray very slippery when wet!. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel which seemed very popular with the locals. There is a beer garden across the street and eateries...
