「Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.」

「Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed 」

「Check in was efficient, staff very helpful and attentive. A stunning place with lots of quiet spaces. The breakfast was superb. It is however a bit jaded though. The blind in the room was broken and tap needed replaced. Overall it was a lovely experience and well worth the money paid」

「Lovely welcome from June. Our top floor bedrooms were bright and comfortable with a pretty view. The ensuite bathrooms were small but clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the kind and friendly attitude with regards to our todddler.」

「The hotel, restaurant and coffee shop were bustling with New Year revellers. The hotel accommodation is rustic. Rooms are bit too small for the size of the beds - no space for luggage. Plenty of options for a pint or a bite to eat, either in the hotel itself or in the village. Great spot for scenic walks and the smokehouse at the back does some great fayre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. 」

「Small rooms but comfortable and very clean. Staff very helpful and welcoming. The pub was reasonably priced with a good range of beers and spirits and a decent menu. Continental breakfast was good with a range of cereals, toast, drinks, cereal bars, muffins, juice and yoghurts, tea and coffee.」

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!」
