"This was our first time staying at The Abbey but most likely not our last. Facility was large and sprawling but clean, very comfortable and staff was very helpful and most friendly. We enjoyed a room overlooking the resort’s harbor and the view was most enjoyable. A thunderstorm rolled through the area our 2nd evening there and we watched its progression comfortably from our balcony with refreshments and protected from the elements from a overhang that kept us completely dry. "

"After a rocky start when we first got to the Lake Lawn resort, my girlfriend and I really loved this place. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The views of the lake were gorgeous, the porches with rocking chairs were a nice touch - the food and drinks at the restaurant are all reasonably priced, and the areas to walk around and the fire pits were all very nice. My girlfriend and I would definitely visit this place again."
