"Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals)
There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented.
The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu.
We will be back x"

"The most beautiful hotel in the most idyllic Devon setting. We stayed on a wet and dreary February evening and we didn't even care about the weather. We played tennis in the beautiful gardens in advance of our outstanding 10 course tasting menu dinner with paired wines by Michael Wignall. The sommelier kindly typed out the wine pairings for us at our request. The wine pairings are not mentioned on the menu but for the complexity of the courses, I would recommend you opt for the wine pairing with...

"A good stay as aways. This time we used the cafe, delightful. This would have been excellent stay if my husband had been able to switch the bedside lamp on.."

"The Globe is a great pub/ bed and breakfast. The room we had was large and clean with a en-suite shower room. The breakfast was excellent and you can choose what you like from their cooked breakfast list the night before. The village of Buckfastleigh is very nice and you have the Abbey and moors on your doorstep. Great value."
