「I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay.」

「We needed a night, close by as attending a family wedding and the cricketers was in the perfect location. The pub is fab and foods excellent, accommodation was as expected.」

「On arrival at 2:45 for 3pm check in we were told by the girl it was £15 for an early check in, at £1 a minute we said no thank you we will sit in the car. We said there was coffee pods in the room but no Coffee machine, she said oh I don’t know, so that was the end of that. Next morning with another guest we were trying to get into the pub area, only to find both doors were locked. The same girl as yesterday eventually opened up and said you should use other door, when we said we did she said...

「The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. 」

「The hotel was alright but charging nearly a tenner to park in their own car park is a joke. Good breakfast albeit another £30. Had to spend nearly the room cost again to park and eat. Could have got somewhere much nicer if I wanted to spend over £100 and eaten and parked for free. Wouldn't come again」

「Nice enough hotel but very tired and a bit out of the way. Moved here after one night in Premier Inn which was much nicer and better located. No breakfast option as far as we could tell.」
