"Our king suite with in-room Jacuzzi was very spacious and clean. It was extremely quiet as it was directly above the pool and was at the very end of the resort. I found the restaurant to be acceptable, but not especially good. Would stay again. "

"This was first time at this hotel and I’d never go back. It felt like it needed a good deep clean and the walls were paper thin. If you’re stuck on the first floor you will hear every noise amplified. I always saw someone smoking weed or cigarettes. If you’re sensitive to smell, not the place for you. A party started at midnight in the room above me and staff seemed like I inconvenienced them by letting them know. Not to mention, no phones in the room, or a contact list. I had to walk in the middle of the night outside to the front office, which was locked, and unattended, in order to get a phone number to contact them, which they didn’t answer. Staff wasn’t apologetic or sincere about any of it. If anything they seem annoyed I disturbed their evening. Overall, my worst hotel experience. I wouldn’t recommend. It’s a great location and good price for a reason. "

"Very dated, checked for bed bugs because we got itchy on both mattresses, NO screens on 2-3rd story windows so kids would be at high risk for falling on to pavement below with no safeguards. Pool emptied except for a few feet of moldy water. Advertised as having a pool. Given wrong building on arrival so walked all over before finding room 2 buildings back. Stayed here for spring break but wish we went elsewhere even though the view was pretty. Inside of the room was a hodgepodge of 1980 furniture and a big box tv with no remote to watch. One staff only and not open to refunds so we felt stuck! One time stay and not again. View and nye beach historic areas only redeeming part of hotel. This is the old shilo hotel. "

"Gorgeous setting. Plenty of parking. Very clean rooms and sweet staff. Every table in the restaurant had a stunning view of the ocean. Delicious meals. Short walk to the beach. Very relaxing atmosphere. However, the walls are thin and seeing how it was Spring Break, there were a lot of kids, some unruly and noisy. But overall, a really nice place in a beautiful location."
