"Although this is only given 4 stars, I would say this is more of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant food is delicious (particularly dinner) and the roof top pool/ bar is stunning and very hip with panoramic views of Sandakan and the sea."

"Excellent location but not for those with fitness and mobility issues. Excellent host and range of activities provided such as jungle walk and river cruise. Food plentiful. No WiFi but good phone signal. Host provides excellent transport to and from the airport as it is 2 hours away."
