A must staff,when in Bath
"We love staying at the Doubletree, a bit expensive but phew we have Tesco vouchers. Rooms are comfy, staff are friendly. Food is reasonable prices, alcohol not so, but it is Bath. They did struggle with the breakfast, a bit short of staff. There were no tomato's, no Alpen or the nuts. The bacon was ..."

"Excellent overnight stop in Bristol Coty Centre. Courteous staff and very comfortable stay. Slight smell of drains in en-suite, but not such to spoil the overall stay. More regular teabags would have been welcome - only 2 for a double room!"

"Stayed just for one night on a business trip. Beautiful interior and patio area. Room was comfortable and quiet. Good toiletries in the bathroom. Basic tea making facilities and a mini fridge were also provided. A decent stay overall."

Who's pinched my tunnel?! This grassy glade in the southern suburbs of Bath marks the spot where the northern portal of the Somerset & Dorset Railway's Devonshire Tunnel once stood. It has now been buried by infilling the approach cutting. In the middle of the picture is a manhole which gives access to it so that occasional inspections can be carried out.
