"The room was ok for the price we paid. Bed is very comfortable. Staff was friendly on check-in. Great area to have your dog, with lots of space to run. Air conditioning was not the best, thankfully it was late September so did not need it to keep room cool, jest more so for air circulation. Took 5 mins to get shower luke warm, and then not any pressure in shower head. Beautiful place to relax, great views."

"The bathroom was spotless. Difficult to tell the rest as the lighting was poor. The toilet ran all night but it worked. I originally thought it was the laundry room which was next to us. The room was quiet for being beside the highway. We used this hotel as a one night stop over while driving through. The clean bathroom and friendly staff means I would return. Great view of Lake Huron from our room."

"Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable canoe rentals, beautiful lawn and playground for the kids, and the hosts are so nice, great at communication! This is our second year visiting and we WILL be back!"
