Excellent location. 11 min walking from the train station and 5 mins with the tran num 11. The city center is at 10 min in the tran 15, the stop is a just in the corner of the hotel. My only complain, the sofa bed was horrible, cool (leather) and small. Sugestión: pillow-top or extra duvet.

Amazing staff in the reception. The room was clean and well maintained, but the bed was to soft for us. Breakfast was great. Location was ok, a short walk or tram ride from the train station, and a short tram ride to the city center.

By far the best hotel we stayed at in Europe. After this we would like aim for this Novotel Chain. They facility and Breakfast were good and well balanced. A reasonable bar in the lobby as well. They offered free Tram tickets to down town as they said not very vehicle friendly. We had to leave following day so did not try them.

SUPERB HOTEL

Ideal location, all the staff were friendly, good selection of breakfast. tram stop for the centre is across the road and the train station is 10 min. 4francs a day tax is payable.

Great stay

Really nice hotel, with amazing staff - both in the reception and restaurant. They gave us Basel Cards that (among a lot of discounts) made public transport free, which we used to take the tram downtown. We were two adults and two kids and had a family room (two double beds), which worked perfectly for one night. The breakfast was amazing, with the “main character” being a self serve pancake machine.. the kids won’t stop talking about it! If you come by car - as we did - I recommend you contact the hotel first to get directions to the garage, as it was a bit difficult to locate.

Clean and spatial. Staff friendly and efficient. Great breakfast. The only complaint is when the bathroom light is turned on it lights up the whole room through the glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom, so when one goes to the toilet at night the other person sharing the room may wake up also if s/he is sensitive to light.

Slightly overpriced but good hotel and great staff

Conveniently located. Clean and comfortable overall. A bit on the high side for price, particularly considering breakfast is not included. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Smooth check in. Room very quiet despite being next to lift. We booked a family room, room was small for a family of four, we were just staying one night before our flight so it was fine but would have been a struggle if staying longer.

It was very close to the train station, which was convenient but The parts of the city that you would want to spend time in were about a15 minute walk away. There is excellent public transportation very conveniently located but we did not use it.

Close to tram

This hotel was practically located with easy access to trams in every direction. Beds were too soft and pillows like a rock. Breakfast way too expensive for what was offered.
