"I typically don’t write reviews, however, the staff was unfriendly. Two staff’s didn’t properly communicate to us about parking so there was miscommunication. Our room was somewhat clean, although the shower was a tad bit dirty. "

"I wanted to like this place because I visit the Alex theater often and its close, but we had a horrble first impression and visit. I arrived at 11:30 am and asked for early check in (I had been driving all morning and needed to use the restroom) the staff member told me if I waited till 12 there was no early check in fee and I could use the lobby bathroom while I waited. I did and we sat in the car for the 30 min. Went back in, a new staff members shift started told her what the lady with the black hair told me she said no its no fee at 1pm. They called the manager who seemed to know which staff member I was referring to and told me I had to pay it or wait till 1. (Very rude with an attitude by the way) I told her I wasted my time and could have just checked in when I arrived if it was the same fee. Seemed more like the first staff member just didn't want to check me in and had me wait till their shift ended or something. Whatever, I paid the fee. We got to the room and it was outdated, had tons of water damage, and the vents were filled with thick black dust and lint (proably a fire hazard which is scary because the sprikler system looked rusted and damaged). On top of that, someone on the floor was smoking pot which filled our room with the smell for 2 days. No judgement, to each their own, but it is not a smell I want to be surrounded with while on vacation. I brought it up to a staff member who pretty much told me oh well there is nothing we can do. True, I guess. "

"We have stayed here several times. This was the first time that the restaurant was open for an evening meal. However we had to wait a very long time to get our food. Will not eat there again. "

"Nice decor, cheerful and responsive staff (our sink was clogged and it was promptly addressed). Street traffic was busy but fine later in evening. Strong winds made our window rattle which kept me awake."
