Oct 24, 2019Barnum is a quaint small town. The nearby town of Moose Lake is the same. The area is very pretty. It's only about a 40 minute drive to Duluth and the North Shore. Definitely worth staying at.

Not my best choice
"The lights on the wall did not work the key reader stopped working in the middle of the night when I had to come back from the store there was shortstaff so there was no housekeeping plus the electricity was off during the day because of some construction that they were doing"

"Construction was going on at Road.. not the hotel's fault of course, and some reconstruction inside.. Sometimes a bit noisy in the day, but tolerable. Pool was down for the construction, but again.. not a game changer. This place was comfortable, convenient for us, just outside the busy city traffic. ..."

Very nice, rustic
"Stay was wonderful. Beautiful cabin, beautiful weather and absolutely beautiful views! Couch was terribly worn. Walk to shower house/ bathroom is a trek! Steps to it would be helpful. Overall the price was perfect, cabin very nice. The gamily time it created was amazing!"
