A warm welcome. Room was well appointed and well designed. Great location. Intimate environment. Relaxing common area with coffee and tea (lavender!). A short walk to Plaza Cataunya and 1 block from Villa Batllo. A very nice stay. Would go back.

FRAUDE!!!, nunca hubo nadie para poder recibirnos. No realizó el check-in. Llame más de 25 veces a la puerta y al teléfono +34 636 661009 que ponen en la puerta sin respuesta alguna. Estuvimos 4 huéspedes de este hotel en esta misma situación. Se pagó $747 euros por 3 noches por anticipado y no han sido reembolsados. ****NO ELIJAS NUNCA ESTE HOTEL, ES UN FRAUDE***

nel complesso molto bene

Il b&b si trova in buona posizione centrale, a 15 min a piedi da Pl.de Cataluña e ad un centinaio di metri da Passeig de Gràcia, da uno degli ingressi della metro 3 e da Casa Batlló. Le camere sono piccoline (almeno la singola), ma con tutto il necessario, compreso un box doccia molto comodo. Gli arredi sono nuovi e danno subito un senso di pulito e ordinato. Così anche la sala comune in cui sono a disposizione acqua, té e caffè, ma nient’altro per la colazione, per la quale conviene rivolgersi al bar/panificio di là della strada. Unico disguido rilevante è stato arrivare intorno alle 12 e non trovare nessuno e senza numeri da contattare. La proprietaria si è però subito riscattata lasciandomi la disponibilità della stanza per l’intero ultimo giorno. Il mio soggiorno è stato di sole due notti e nessuno è passato a rassettare la stanza; mi auguro che per periodi più lunghi ci sia un minimo di attenzione in più.

As previous reviews state, do not expect breakfast. Rooms were clean and well furnished (although we did wait an hour after we arrived for our room). Our A/C wasn’t working and the owner had no sense of urgency to fix or offer up an alternative. Only window in the room was in the bathroom and did not offer any sort of relief from the heat. We sourced a fan on Facebook marketplace at 10pm and it went and picked it up. Had we not had that, the sleeping conditions would have not been bearable. We left the fan behind for any other travellers that experience the same condition - so ask for it! Good location.

Pros: Bedroom: The room was very clean and well cared for. We appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided. The linens were clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable. The provided water and glasses was also appreciated. There is ample closet space to hang your clothes. The area was quiet. Common area: The water and nespresso machine with cups/mugs was great. There is a refrigerator/freezer for common use. The tables and chairs were in good condition. The couches were comfortable. Check in: check in was smooth; our room keys worked without issue. Check out was also smooth. The proprietor is friendly. We arrived before the room was ready, so she held our luggage for us while we explored the area. The luggage is held in the common area. Cons: The building and B&B can only be accessed by being buzzed in by the proprietor. If you arrive earlier than 1200, there is no one to let you in. There are 5-6 steps that must be taken to reach the lift. There is a chair lift for these steps, but it was broken when we were there last week. Although it is titled "B&B" there is no provided breakfast. We walked a few blocks down and got a latte and croissant. The proprietor is only on the property from 1200-1900. The proprietor also cleans and prepares the rooms, so our room was not ready until 3:20pm. Overall, we would stay here again. We would just choose to arrive later in the day.

NOT A B&B AND NO ROOMS READY AT CHECK IN TIME!!

THIS IS NOT A B&B - you will not get breakfast!! You can also expect no room to be ready when your arrive - we waited 2 1/2 hours and, while waiting, 2 other guests arrived and also had no room way to check into. Terrible service but great location for Gaudi attractions.

NOT A B&B and EXPECT CHECK IN DELAY

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!! This is NOT a B&B!! You will get the first B but you will not get the second - there us no breakfast!! Also be prepared to wait for your room. We had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get our room - although we arrived at the correct check in time. Two other guests arrived while we waited and also had no room to get into.

Best host ever! I had difficulty to check in in time (check in time: 3pm-7pm). The host waited for me until 11pm and even let me stay longer for the next day. She explained everything to me in details. Great place! Great location! Very clean!

Comfort in Barcelona

A very nice comfortable hotel in Barcelona's city center. The owner is very friendly and she has owned the hotel since 2013. My room had a soft bed and lots of room to move around. After being on a cruise ship for two weeks, it was nice place.

The property was good. I know it says THE 8 Boutique B&B not it’s just the Bed minus the Breakfast. The owner was very helpful. The bathroom is really nice and modern. As for the room it was nice and big. Look like from an IKEA catalogue.
