Room was very small with a pillar at the foot of the bed. For a 4 star hotel, they had a combined bath and shampoo gel container in the bathroom, no conditioner, no lotion. Could barely get a comb through my hair after washing it with their gel. Not a good experience.

We had a fantastic stay at the Negresco Princess in Barcelona. The staff, especially Laura at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Laura was incredibly helpful when we discovered our bed was two twins instead of a king. Despite the lifts being flooded, the staff remained attentive and kind and fixed it instantly. The hotel's central location was a definite plus, and we were captivated by the stunning rooftop pool, complete with a bar and sauna. It provided a truly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend staying at this hotel. A special thanks to Laura for her exceptional hospitality and warm-hearted demeanor. As for the rooms, they were spacious and well-appointed. We loved the fridge, which came with five complimentary drinks that were replenished daily. The coffee machine and delightful-smelling toiletries added to our comfort. Additionally, the room provided a disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, and a shaving set in case we forgot anything.

Nice rooftop hotel right in the centre
Great modern Hotel, nice modern bar area with live music in the evening, fantastic views from rooftop, but pool is very small, reception staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a standard room first which had no daylight we changed to a superior room afterwards but when shown it was a triple room which we didn’t like so we got another one than which we took it was grand but had a massive pillar in front of the window, that was disappointing as well, bathroom could have been cleaner, breakfast was kind of basic, no musli or porridge ..

Location was fantastic to walk to main attractions and railway that takes you direct to the airport. Staff were amazing from start to finish and breakfast was great. The free mini Bar was welcomed also. Would def stay here again

Perfect location, walking distance From everything but still quiet. Nice terrace! Pool is fun with awesome view but small. You should add sun beds, everyone just put a towel on the deck. Cleanliness needs BIG improvement, also the room feels very dated and towels needed to be renewed a long time ago. oK selection, but pricy for what you get.

When I entered the room, there was no coffee maker. There were two cups of water and a free drink. On the first day, the sink leaked and the floor was all wet. I tried to change the room, but it was impossible because it was full bookings. I asked to upgrade my room, but the hotel charged 30 euros per night. It was $15 difference in Expedia, but the hotel had to charge 30 euros per night. I upgraded my room for 150 euros. But I found a bug in the room. I had to change rooms again. I didn't see Termite the room where I found the bug. The housekeeper cleaned the room. Every room is served with two bottles of water, one bottle of coke, one bottle of orange juice, and one bottle of beer every day. But I saw the housekeeper empty the trash can and put the drinks in the trash can. Negresco Princess was a disappointing experience for me. I want to get a full rep but I don't know if Expedia agrees. I hope Expedia will no longer mark this hotel with recommendations. Above all, it is more disappointing that no one has apologized.

The staff are very helpful & attentive especially Shirley at the front desk. They even gave my husband 2 little champagne bottles and a cake with a candle delivered to our room on his birthday while we were there. Very thoughtful gesture :) Location is very good.2 minutes walk to the Metro station. A lot of eateries around the area.

Deceptive rating and generally poor quality
This property rates itself 4.5stars, I suspect because of services offered?? but the quality of the property and its maintenance were akin to a 2 star hotel. Paneling coming off walls, busted mini-fridge doors, shower doors uneven and don’t close - allowing water to leak, and drapery that doesn’t cover the windows because they were partially coming off the hinges… Better to select a more reputable facility listed as 3 star than to think you’re getting a deal on a nearly 5 star hotel. You are not.

NOT SOUNDPROOF- Would not recommend.
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Absolutely not soundproof. You should not be able to hear people coughing down in reception from your room. All night all you can hear is doors slamming shut. What’s made worse is that the void in the middle of the hotel just makes the noise eco around more. On our final night I had to knock on next doors door at 4am to ask them to turn their music down & to stop being so loud. At 5am I finally went down to reception as they had kept me awake for almost 3 hours. The rooms are dark & dingy which makes it feel really unwelcoming and cold. There’s no window to outside, which made it hard for myself to do my makeup and also made it really hard to wake up on a morning. The room was just constantly dark and was quite depressing. TV offered just two English channels, with no ability to “Cast” anything from your phone to the TV. Shower screen was loose and party hanging off. Customer service in the hotel was poor. Didn’t seem interested. Asked three times for a Manager but told they weren’t there to speak to and I would need to email. I asked for a Duty Manager, told they didn’t have one. Wasn’t offered the Hotels.com Silver benefits, had to ask for them after check in. View from bar was good and the drinks were nice, but the service was dreadful. Took ages to get served, and the attitude was dreadful when trying to use my 20% silver benefit- tried to complain at Reception but no Manager- again. I would not recommend.
