Deutsch: Der Boden im Zimmer ist vergleichbar mit einer Baustelle. Das Wasser hat nicht funktioniert, sodass die Gemeinschafts-Toilette so gestunken hat, dass man sich fast übergeben musste und man auch die Hinterlassenschaften der anderen Gäste beäugen konnte. Danach ging der Gestank auch nicht mehr weg und das Gemeinschaftsbad blieb schmutzig. Die Steckdosen haben ebenfalls nicht funktioniert. Der Preis ist viel zu hoch für so eine Müllhalde. Selbst im Gefängnis sieht es tausend mal schöner aus. English: The floor in the room is comparable to a construction site. The water didn't work, so the shared toilet smelled so bad that you almost had to vomit and you could also see the other guests' messes. After that the smell didn't go away and the shared bathroom remained dirty. The sockets didn't work either. The price is way too high for such dump. Even in prison it looks a thousand times nicer.

I am a solo traveller woman. I booked my reservation and came at 2:30PM to drop my stuff there. I asked the guy if I could come back to get the keys at 11PM because I had to go somewhere. He said no problem they are open 24H. I came back to get the keys and go to my room and at midnight after waiting for few people ahead of me, all looking super upset, another guy, which was by the way very disinterested and laid back told me that they “accidentally” gave my bed and that now they are in a overbooking , and that they had no bed for me. Left alone at midnight without a place to sleep in the middle of Barcelona. They didn’t try to help at all, they didn’t even seem sorry. Hospitality should never look like that. Disgusting!

Really nice staff but the property, mainly the bathrooms, are absolutely disgusting. The worst public bathrooms I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s also standard to provide towels for free which isn’t the case here.

Disappointing
The whole stay wasnt good had to book another hostel as it was that bad. I certainly will not be booking this again in the future. There was a odd smell that wouldnt go away as soon as i first walked into the room .Toliet door was damaged no lock. The beds were not stable. The bedsheets were filthy. I couldn't finish the stay in this one. I can say the hostel that i booked was 10 times better than this horrible one.

Pase 5 noches en este Hostel, nos dieron una habitacion al lado del baño justo donde se escuchan las vibraciones y ruidos de la cañeria de la ducha del baño de caballeros, cada vez que alguien se bañaba en la noche te despertaban.... Ruidoso, desaseado.

You get what you pay for - bed and dorm was clean, but the rest of the hostel left a lot to be desired. It felt very industrial, and the bathroom was hideous.

Nicely updated lobby and hallways; and excellent, helpful staff. While the bed was comfortable, the rooms could use a little love and the bathrooms were just okay. You can’t beat the location, though!

Staff seemed agitated all the time. Rooms were not air conditioned and there aren’t any outlets for in the rooms themselves except for a couple that had to be shared between 10 people. Wouldn’t recommend if you want a good launching point for your trip.

The location of the hostel is the only good thing about it. The rooms are jammed packed, hot and humid with 2 outlets at the most. I stayed in a 10 bed and it was unbearable. We had 2 outlets and both were used for the fans because it was so hot. The showers were very old and the water was either super hot or freezing no control of the temperature. The staff is nice but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Additionally, the name mentions it’s for youth and I was surprised to see older men in my room which is uncomfortable as a younger female.

Good location, right off La Rambla and Barrio Gotico, and across street from cheap grocery store (but far from station). Staff tries to be helpful, but reservations system is very slow, so one has to often wait long. They do have kitchen for guests (with only 1 cup), and according to sign posted , beverages are not allowed to be stored in refrigerator during hot Barcelona summer! Remove this sign and my rating would increase greatly.

You like rules, they’ve got them
Someone earlier in the reviews said it best, if you love rules then this is the place for you. I’ve never felt so cold and unwanted in a hostel, there’s no sense of backpacker or world explorer vibe here. The nonexistent kitchen means you are spending more to eat. And the rules about drinking & smoking immediately destroy any chance to talk with fellow travelers. I tried to take a phone call at 3am and sneak outside, but not happening here.

Great Location!
Super awesome location in Barcelona that is close to the main street. Full of shops and food around the area. Would definitely recommend if looking to stay in central Barcelona. Room itself though was very hot, no AC so during the evening it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Despite having fans, it wasn't very useful as it just blew hot air. If coming during the summer months, beware of this, other than that, a great hostel if you're looking for a place that is convenient and close to everything!

This location is great !!
Great service and GREAT location - price is good. But the house is kind of old - but hey you get what you pay for so I’m happy ! Definitely coming back!

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE
This is the worst hostel in Barcelona. If you dont believe me, go see for yourself. Watch as they check you out of your room and remove your belongings because they accidentally overbooked the room, watch as they have no idea where your things are WHEN YOU PAID FOR 5 days, and they make you recheck in multiple times because of their incompetence. Literally the worst experience traveling europe for 6 months.
