Location was phenomenal. Many attractions were within a 15 minute walk. Price was better than I could find for other hotels nearby. Rooftop bar was excellent for views of the city.

Shame for the brand and the location of this hotel. Very dated. Room amenities almost zero. And on top they started refurbishing the hallway in the morning, with guests in the rooms and no prior notice

Amazing experience
We stayed here for 7 nights for our visit to Barcelona. The best perk of Iberostar is its location, being right by the plaza Catalunya and Gracia street, you are pretty much in walking distance of many tourist spots, shops, and restaurants. Also 24 bus is pretty much in standby in front of the hotel, and there are metro stations and other bus stops right by the hotel. Throughout our trip it was amazing how easily we could accesss the transportation and make easy stops at the hotel. The room is nice and roomy, with all the modern controls. Breakfast on 1st floor was pretty decent as well. Rooftop provides good view of the city and good bites and drinks. My only complaint is noise level from the street and the plaza during the day, but it gets quiet enough at night. A very strong recommend if visiting Barcelona.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stay in one of the rooms with a terrace. Just gorgeous! The staff in the front desk and servers at the rooftop bar were outstanding! We'll be back.

The front desk staff overwhelmed at all times. Called four separate times regarding AC repair never resolved checked out early. The best part was the roof deck! Lack of service and staffing at the restaurant on the roof too.

Beautiful room and good layout for a narrow small space. The reflective mirror like television made watching shows slightly difficult. Good water pressure and hot water, but there was some lime scale on the shower head. No slippers but they provided robes and towels. We appreciated the refillable water (with cold and room temperature options) and ice station by the elevators. Elevators were a bit slow, so expect to wait a few minutes for the elevator car to arrive. Location was close to everything from La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, Arc de Triomphe, Metro, tourism information office (where you can get some of your VAT/Tax-free receipts validated with Global Blue), and lots of shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful, so we definitely will come back.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff!
I was only at the hotel for a single night, but the service I received was spectacular. Friendly and efficient check-in, staff was also quick to offer me a welcome drink. The room was extremely clean and modern, and I had a nice comfortable sleep after a red-eye transatlantic flight followed by an afternoon of exploring Barcelona. For anyone looking to explore Barcelona after checking out, or before being able to check in, they do offer complimentary luggage storage.

Elevator became a nightmare when it stopped worki!
We enjoyed our stay, until the elevator quit working to the 9th floor. We are 70 years old and my husband has bad knees. It was a great hardship to us, especially since the elevator problems were during the weekend, and there were an abundance of people using the elevator to the rooftop bar. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast were excellent, but the elevator problem was a huge negative for us.

Everything was fabulous. The rooftop bar was a bonus to enjoy with our friends and the view was great. The location of this property was why we chose to stay. The only suggestion that we have, is that the lighting at the bathroom sink was not ideal (modern, but fell short on functionality. We will definitely go back.
