I think the pictures were taken 10 years ago, now it is not good maintained.
Only the first day we had hot water.
The air conditioned did not work.
Worst at all it was cucarachas in there!
Only the second night we found one and killed it, when reported to staff, he look at me as if it was normal and say they did not have people to change the bed line (my mother found it on the bed). I asked new bed line to change myself. When the staff went to the room, they said it was because of the window (We opened only for 5min).
Next morning, I found another one in the closet, thinking on staff explanation, we just kill it again (ourselves, so worst experience EVER)
That day we returned and found a 3rd one in the closet, so no way it was the window, for sure it was plenty of them.
The explanation this time was: "It is Barcelona, and we have a plague, even in the best hotels you will find it"
I ask to a local and say it is true, they have a problem, BUT having an adequate control and cleanness you can keep your house (and hotel) cucaracha free.
We look at the floor and realised it was not clean at all, so they do a really poor cleaning room service.
I booked this Hotel because it was good neighbourhood and very decent price (not cheap at all but for being Barcelona, I would say affordable) and was fooled by the pictures in internet.
Honestly, I though I found a good dea, but it became worst nightmare.
If I would knew this possibility, I will never book
