Overall is good to excellent. My view that housekeeping can be improved a little bit better for example sweeping the bathroom floor. Perhaps, I am a overly concerned on cleanliness 😜

Nice hotel with nice facilities. SPA was good. Swimming pool is a good size, on the 6th floor. Friendly bar staff on ground floor and nice cake options too. Few bad points: * Shower temperature unstable * Should include Iron in room * Bed sheets should have been swapped on second day but weren't. i made sure card was not on bed to ensure clean sheets are added. * location not the greatest area for going out for restaurant options. You will need a Taxi

We really enjoyed our time at Sukosol. Solid hotel is a great location with access via Grab to all the spots around town. The only downside was our plan to travel SE Asia for 3 weeks with a backpack required laundry services. The hotel laundry service is priced per item - not by weight. Therefore, they wanted us to pay $90 USD to do a weeks worth of laundry (underwear and t-shirts for 2 people socks). Didn't give us warm and fuzzy customer service vibes from that interaction.

Staff were incredible. the room was a little run down, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the paint was chipping, and the A/C in the room sounded like it was on its last leg. the pool was a great amenity. super close to the playa thai train station. definitely not a 5-star hotel, but also much better than a hostel.
