I recently spent 4 nights at The Dawin Hotel, steps away from the lively Nana area. The executive room I chose was surprisingly spacious, clean, and comfortable, surpassing my expectations. The hotel's strategic location balanced accessibility and tranquility, providing a welcome retreat from the energetic Nana district. The overall experience was positive, and the attentive staff and well-maintained facilities added to the appeal. However, the absence of an iron for steaming my shirts was inconvenient. It's surprising for any hotel not to offer such a basic amenity. Despite this setback, I would still consider returning to The Darwin Hotel for future visits, hoping they address this oversight for an even better guest experience.

Nice, quaint little hotel in a unique spot of Bangkok. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. There's a small pool on the roof where you can cool off and catch a tan, (nothing fancy) . Restaurant/bar at the front of the hotel that offers decent food. The location is great! Benjakitti Park is just south of the hotel within walking distance. Looking for night life... just start walking North when you leave the hotel. Plenty of bars, music, outdoor markets and even Nana Plaza if you're looking for adventure.

I really like this hotel. I’d say the only knock on it is that the lovely salt water pool on the roof is a little on the small side. Excellent food in the connected café. I strongly recommend the poached eggs with avocado on toast for breakfast. They have Tobasco sauce. Just ask!

Excellent location on the edge of the old town, both the old town and night market are in easy walking distance. Everything in the hotel just works well. Huge room, great shower, friendly staff.

I like this hotel a lot. They keep this hotel clean. The staffs are super awesome I am from the USA. Very pleased with the experience. They do an excellent job. Very nice the service is perfect. The rooms are very modern, beds comfy. Internet is very good and there is a pool that is awesome. I loved the breakfast and the coffee. There is a safe in your room and night security. it is in a good location. I will be staying here again.

Haves stayed this hotel many times pre Covid. It has only just reopened . 3 floors now operating , about half the hotel. Staff have been reduced because of shut. Hotel is very clean, rooms are great , small pool on roof was enjoyed. Front of house was in the process of being remodeled , not finished yet, but looks nice. Kitchen currently closed, so no breakfast at the moment . All staff were very helpful, pleasant and kind. I had Room 301 which fronts the street . Normally this is the quiet end of Soi 4 , but there is a ladyboy bar across the road with particularly loud, often drunk, katoeys screaming and yelling outside the bar till early hours. So for that reason , suggest a room a bit away from the street end of the hotel. Overall , I would definitely recommend the Dawin , it will only get better as more guests arrive. It is a small hotel , where you are a person, not just a number .

The picture shows a beautiful night scene at the pool with a great view of the city; unfortunately, the pool area closed at 7:00 PM every night and we couldn't enjoy that scene. There is also a bar across the street and as you come out the front entrance of the hotel, you see dozens of bar girls waving you over. So okay for single men, but not for families. I also wasn't happy with the 1000 baht deposit. The room was comfortable and spacious. The shower was nice with hot water. WIFI was good. Good walking distance to restaurants, skytrain, massages, etc.
