The hotel is nice and convenient for airport. Strange experience when I tried to raise that the extra 100 baht I had paid for a transfer had not resulted in that service, because no staff had replied to my email (the website says 24 hours for replies, but i got nothing in 36... so i turned up at the airport and had to pay for a taxi). First of all, attempts to deny it, then "wait until morning", then "ok we can give you breakfast instead but last night's staff will have to pay for it!". It is the latter which i really object to. What kind of management would want to give this message to a simple, polite customer. Truly, it was a simple error by someone, not to reply.. there is no need to threaten reception staff about it (when the manager concerned had not done any investigation, was not present, did not speak English etc).... 100 baht was not a big deal; simply smile and say sorry, and sure, offer a free breakfast, but don't punish the lowest level of hierarchy, it leaves a bad taste when such things are mentioned
