Courteous staff, easy check-in, clean rooms. The communal area/garden and restaurant is a huge draw here.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
The rooms are Very Old and so are the linens. Very uncomfortable bed linens as they are old and worn. Property definitely needs a refresh or complete renovation. Location is great. Bonus that the hotel is tucked in away from the road, so it is quiet.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at an affordable price. Great value for money!
Staff is very helpful. Amenities are very good. Bed and AC were awesome. Toilets n Bathrooms were clean. Rooms are good size. So definitely a great backpacking location in Kahosan
Near Phra Athit for blue boats on the river.
Such a lovely place to stay and amazing location - just out of the way of the loud hustle and bustle but all within a few minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
Excellent location and friendly helpful staff. Right in the heart of it yet guesthouse was quiet. Good selection for breakfast. Had great 2 night stay.
Thank you

Great staff
Lovely food
Very clean
Quite garden amidst a busy road
Take the aircon rooms as hot most year and only 100 bath extra it’s made all the difference
I’ll come again
Simple but nice room. Very comfy pillows. Close to the action but tucked away in a quiet and serene spot. They also have a cafe with good food and coffee and a courtyard to relax in.
Surprisingly quiet. Good night of sleep right in the middle of everything.

The property was not 5 star but we didn't expect it to be. What it was is clean, quiet and close to restaurants shops and night entertainment. Great location great quality for the money.
We had an enjoyable stay at Lamphu House! The AC worked very well, which we were very thankful for in Bangkok. Location is great: the hostel is on a tourist street with lots of street vendors and great restaurants and within walking distance to the Grand Palace. Only 2 things preventing a 5 star review: 1.) walking up 3 flights of stairs to our room and 2.) our bed was very very hard. Otherwise, a nice stay! :)
Lamphu was set back from the main road down an alleyway that opened up to a lush garden area and the dining area. The place was a little like a hostel, but had a wide range of age groups staying there. I don't know if there were any shared rooms as the place was very large with four floors. The room was basic, but clean. The AC worked great and was a relief after the heat and humidity of the city. The bathroom is a wet bathroom and the floors can get very slippery. The location was very good, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops around. There was a money exchange at the end of the road that had pretty good rates. The breakfast was good, but we did not have any other meals while there. It was a quick walk to Khao San road and to many other attractions. Some of the rooms have balconies, but ours did not. When it rains, the frogs behind the hotel go crazy. At first it drove me a little crazy, but I got used to it. I missed it a little when it didn't rain. All in all it was a good place for the price and location.
What i like was a real wooden bed with full mattress looked charming What was sad was totally different bed comfortable but room very small we okay for 1 day but be tough too long

khaosan is close to the house, very convinience, and reasonable.
I stayed in an aircon single with balcony - I loved having that outdoor space at such a reasonable price. Room had simple but inviting decor with antique touches. Guesthouse is well maintained, everthing worked efficiently incl toilets, showes, wifi. Excellent location - despite being in the heart of the tourist ghetto it never felt noisy, thanks to being tucked away in an alley. Staff were very accomodating (thanks for helping me book a dental appointment). This has got to be one of the best guesthouses in the Khao San area as far as value for money.
Very reasonable price. They have staffs 24/7. nice and quiet from the noise from KhaoSan Road but only a couple min walk to everything… not a super fancy place but it has what you need
