Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21

"Appreciated the fact that not only did they keep my bags for the day (i had a red-eye flight), but that I was able to take a shower at the sauna before 9:00pm (i am sure my seat mates were happy about that) Short walk to Benchakitti park, which has a great running path (sky bridge allows you to skip busy intersection) Having Terminal 21 and BTS right there is convenient."

"The hotel is in the heart of Bangkok. Centrally located to all trains, shopping malls, restaurants and sightseeing. Overall excellent hotel. Spacious, clean room. Very comfortable beds. Hotel has a pool, spa and fitness center- all exceptional. The rooftop bar has amazing views, awesome drinks and excellent food! There were a few disappointments/improvements to mention: (1) I did reach out to the hotel beforehand to advise that due to our 24+ hour flight from Miami Florida we would be arriving quite early. The hotel notified us that there would be an additional days charge for early check-in. I do understand hotel policies however it was a bit distasteful as a first time visitor traveling from such a distance to be charged a full day not perhaps a pro rated fee. (2) For a hotel of this caliber, to not have a pod coffee maker and snack bar in room was a bit shocking. They did offer very tacky instant coffee packets but again for this caliber of hotel they should be embarrassed. Additionally we had some laundry done and was charged quite high for the small amount of laundry but it was a convenience. The insulting part was a service charge on top of the cleaning charge. I would have accepted a higher charge than to be “nickel and dimed”. All in all a fabulous location within walking distance to pretty much everything."

"My husband and I loved our stay. The hotel is in the middle of all the night life and restaurants. Even with being on such a busy street, we slept well everynight. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from BTS station. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The staff were able to help us arrange transportation to Pattaya when we left Bangkok. We did not eat at the hotel but we enjoyed the pool area. The sky line view of the pool is picture worthy. The water was very cool for the Thailand heat. The property is clean and well maintained."

Rambuttri Village Inn & Plaza

"On checking in we found no towels in the room and, on checking the bed, found hairs in it. However, when we asked, the sheets were changed and later that night they gave us towels so we were happy with a good response. The buffet breakfast was excellent with friendly staff and we enjoyed the rooftop pool. Aircon and comfort were good. The location on Soi Rambuttri is excellent. We have actually booked in for another one night stay on our return to Bangkok as we were overall very happy with this accommodation."
