One of the best stays ever - what a peaceful, beautiful place - from location & mountain views to the quality of rooms to the staff and the outstanding food & beverages and services. The owners Holger & Aluna went out of their way to make us feel very welcome and engaged in the Laotian experience. We enjoyed fabulous back-country hikes through local villages and coming home to the lodge enjoying the sauna and pool followed by one of the best Asian menus including a wide variety of plant-based...

have had the great fortune of being a guest at Rosewood on numerous occasions, and each visit reminds me why I always look forward to returning.
This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life.

We had an amazing stay at the Pullman Luang Prabang. This new resort is just outside of town in a beautiful setting. The resort provides a shuttle service to and from town making the sights/restaurants in town easily accessible. The grounds and rooms were spacious and lovely. The service was absolutely top notch- the staff was so friendly and eager to help with anything. I would highly recommend staying here!

A spectucular location with great views from the east bank of the Mekong River of the broad river, boats on it, and the surrounding karst mountains in the near distance beyond. Peaceful and beautifully maintained acres of landscaped gardens. Historic home of former revered Lao Prince. Good AC, wifi, shower or tub bath. Pool was wonderful with very nice chaise lounges and umbrellas but only about 8 of them, not enough if there are many people using it. Very good food options, both western and...

The Luang Say Residence is a wonderful place to stay in Luang Prabang. The staff was inobtrusive, but at the same time friendly and extremely helpful. There didn't seem to be anything they wouldn't do for you. The restaurant had great food, the pool was relaxing, and the rooms were comfortable, roomy, and super clean. The place also offered free transportation into town on demand, and had a regular shuttle service in the evenings. I can't think of a base they didn't cover, or anything they...

Terrific long weekend "escape" to Luang Prabang. Enjoyed biking around the town and lazily floating down the Mekong in a boat. The hotel is perfect...just far enough from town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to explore the UNESCO World Heritage town. Hotel provides mountain bikes and "family" bikes. Has a beautiful pool where you can escape the humidity/heat during the day. And the food at the hotel was some of the best I've had in SE Asia. I had a lovely room overlooking the...

We really enjoyed our stay here, we were in a group of friends and were very impressed with the property. Arriving early evening, the light pathway was simply attractive far better to what we expected when camping.
The staff were really helpful and welcoming, rooms were cozy and has the standard amenities. We had a lovely dinner time in their restaurant and the bar afterwards. Non-stop karaoke singing till 1 AM A lovely location in the middle of the jungle , very well set up and a gorgeous...

I like the old style but everything was too dark especially the floor so hard to see. Plus the room was right behind the neighbors with tree branches so its hard to see outside
