Got photo's only to findout I was on the top floor with 3 flights of stairs . *No personal check in ALL done on line. * The area is ( quote by a taxi driver a bit dodgy although I found the people in the area to be very helpful & nice people. The main disappointment was that the listing didn't include all taxes, but rather before check-in, we had to pay an extra 10 Euros for a tax that was not included in the price. Another slight inconvenience is that after registering with Expedia, one had to complete a new registration with Camelotels."

"The room size at Holiday Inn Express Ghent was good and comfortable. There were plenty of USB charging ports and power sockets, which was very convenient, and the TV was also quite large. The parking area had plenty of available spaces, possibly because the parking fee of €20 per night discouraged some guests from using it. One major issue was the bathroom drainage. The water drained very slowly, and once the shower was turned on, the water quickly overflowed and left the bathroom floor completely wet. The shower area was also not very slip-resistant and lacked any grab bars, which could be a safety concern. Breakfast was included and offered a reasonably good selection."
