"Our two day stay (with dogs) in Bunk House 1, was PEREFECT! The property and accommodations are amazing! My husband and I travel frequently and it's rare for my husband to state he wants to return to a property before our visit is even over! Sit on a bluff with a view of the Davis mountains, the rugged view is every bit as good as Big Bend, and much more accessible. The resort is in Fort Davis, but its' own world! The spacious, 2 room Bunk House was decorated in a contemporary, minimalist style (good for dogs), a huge big screen TV, a super comfortable bed and large bathroom, night blinds, and a big fireplace set with wood and a starter log. We were blown away! We couldn't have asked for anything more! At night, the stars are AMAZING and the facility lights are set in a way not to interfere with the dark sky. This is a SPECIAL, SPECIAL place! A 10++ on a scale of 10!"

"An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Fort Davis! "
