The owner checked us in and was very helpful in showing us our apartment, helping us carry luggage and the extras of having printed information for nearby villages, etc. The property was so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. 「There was plenty of space in the room. The shower was hot and had high pressure. The room could get stuffy, but fortunately there was a fan to improve air circulation. Being near the pub was not a problem and there was no noise from it at all.」

「The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「We loved Waterford and the hotel. We almost couldn't fly home from Dublin and we were going to try to go back to Waterford and stay at Dooleys Hotel for as long as we were grounded! Unfortunately, we were able to fly out. Highly recommend!!」
