「A really lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so kind from the moment we checked in! We stayed two nights, and apart from a plumbing glitch that caused the water to need to be turned off, all was lovely. The breakfast is incredible - definitely recommend!」

「Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. 「Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm. Comfortable clean rooms. Be careful to read the parking signs on the street as they don't tell you when you check in the parking is only free untill 9am so we got a $100 parking ticket at 905am.」

「We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests. It was nice to have access to a fridge to keep drinks cold, but we were expecting a homemade breakfast.」

「A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! 」
