It is very very old, and many things weren't working: fireplace, washer, hot water in sinks and upper shower, coffee machine, shower doors broken, etc. The floors upstairs and stairs creaked so much they felt like they were about to fall through. Massive spiders in the house as well which we havent seen at all. There was lots of black mold behind kitchen sink, coffee machine was very dirty, junk in driveway. No shampoo or conditioner in showers and no...

「Dated requiring refurbishment also when we opened bedroom there was loads of birds droppings on the corner of the window cill because there was a house Martin or swallow had been nesting therefor had to close window and get no fresh air. We stayed one night and left prematurely. No breakfast It’s like being a latch key school child Wouldn’t recommend」

「Close to town and sites and far enough away to be piece full Everything was less than a 10 min walk」

「We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.」

「Dated apartment but clean & comfortable」
