Wow. Great hotel with superbly helpful staff. Jacob was extremely helpful at check in, whiskey bar, arranging dinner and car service. He even served and explained the excellent 5 course tasting menu. Great central location for distillery tours. Nothing else to do in Rothes but an excellent home base for a few days.

This hotel is a small hidden gem. The rooms are great. The staff is great. Well stocked bar with knowledgeable tenders. The most impressive part of the stay was the chef and menu. Wonderful food.

The hotel was really nice. The included breakfast was a bonus, but i have to say the 2 top things that made this a wonderful experience were the 5 course tasting menu and the gentleman that waited on us every day-Jacob! He is spectacular. He was very helpful, extremely informative, and very charming. He checked us into the hotel, made us drinks and then walked us thru each course of the meal, which surprisingly was one of the best meals i have had in a long time- and i just got back from Paris. Would definitely stay here again.

The whiskey bar is very special. It was a little understaffed when we were there but the choice is exceptional. Breakfast was lovely and the lead server is lovely and attentive.

Charming, comfortable hotel near distilleries and good pubs. We asked the young person at the front desk for assistance calling a taxi and she just gave us some numbers to call ourselves. We weren’t able to reach anyone but she expressed no concern or willingness to assist further. It left a bad first impression of the hotel.

We stayed at The Station Hotel for two nights - the staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was readily available and the room was tastefully decorated and spacious. At the hotel we had breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening: the menu had many options and we all enjoyed our meals. We would recommend to our family and friends!

Wonderful staff. For some reason, I was assigned the handicap room. This is a solid three star hotel. Not fancy but comfortable. Unfortunately, not much to do around it unless you have a car. Impressive Scotch and Single Malt collection with over 300 expressions.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this lovely little castle. The property is gorgeous and well situated between Oban and Glencoe. David, the owner, was charming and told us all about the history of the castle and the region. He has gone to great lengths to create a warm, cozy, authentic castle experience! Hope to return one day!

The room was lovely, we stayed in the Speyburn suite, roll top bath, seperate shower and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was excellent value and wonderful food. About the same price point as the bar if you have a starter and main and totally worth it. Staff were very professional, the gentleman. knew his stuff about whiskey, they even did a like packed breakfast and lunch for fishing the next day! Really recommend
