「For the price and proximity to downtown Mayfield and Fancy Farm, this place is a winner. However, if any other option were to come up, I would take it. The photos on the website don’t capture to state of neglect in the standard double rooms. I love an independently owned hotel/motel but even if the funds aren’t there to keep up with the latest furniture and bedding you have to maintain and more importantly CLEAN what you do have. 「A short stay while on the road. Clean and comfortable. Convenient.」

「The problem I had was, and I rarely review anything, the rooms had an awful musty smell. The lady at the counter who was amazing let me try 3 different rooms and they all smelled musty. Like they had been sealed up for years. I actually just left and didn’t stay there.」
