"Just returning from a 7 night stay. Room was lovely all the essentials provided. Lovely powerful shower , comfy beds and very quiet. Also they have a lovely terrace with a pool to cool off and have a drink.A five min walk into the shops bars and restaurants and 10 min walk to centre Nerja. Tess and Jorge the owners we had the pleasure of meeting them both and if you needed their assistance they were fantastic to oblige. "Great location 5mins walk into the old town. Room and bed was on the small side but nice & clean. Lovely Staff and very helpful Breakfast was acceptable , fresh coffee and a small choice of fruit, hot food and pastries Lovely quiet small pool and area with plenty of sunbeds Large car park at the back if you are arriving by car"

"Cold air conditioning, good location fairly centrally located between Burriana (biggest beach) and “Europe’s balcony”. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool was clean but small (6 person) but it felt great. The bar under the property was not rowdy or loud, and they were hosting a World Cup watch the party. We walked from the bus station to there mid-day, mostly down hill. Check in was a breeze. They let us keep our bags there (our room wasn’t quite ready, we had gotten there early. The property is beautiful. Lots of plants. Seems like it was converted apartment building. Marble floors and decorated with a lot of lovely plants. No elevator! (It seems like most of the people in Nerja are retired Europeans from Germany, France or the UK on Holiday). So plan accordingly, you’ll need to carry your bags up stairs. The rooms are perfectly fine. Very clean. It’s a little dated, but it’s nice to have a kitchen and cold AC."

"This is the second time we have stayed at La Puerta de Nerja Hostel Boutique. The location is ideal as it is very close to bars and restaurants. Burriana Beach is a 15 minute picturesque walk away. The staff were extremely friendly especially the staff on the rooftop terrace, where we went at the end of an evening. A big thank you to the mature gentleman, his grandson and the waitress who were very attentive.. we loved the cake!! We would definitely recommend this hostel and will plan to return again.."
