Lovely small town with everything you could want. Gorgeous lake and walking paths, great pubs and eateries. Good jumping off point for longer hikes

Clean, spacious room. Friendly check in. The continuous “drone” of something, maybe a boiler, throughout the night, making the use of ear plugs necessary, for a light sleeper, took the edge of our stay - room 1. There was no problem with the road outside or the customers from the pub.

Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. ...
