"Older motel but VERY well maintained. Pride of ownership shows thru! The setting was quaint, although adjacent a very busy Hwy1, so light sleepers may not have a great sleep. The A/C needs re-charge (our A/C unit only kept the room live-able when 32+ degrees outside), but we enjoyed our sleep thru the night (a/c was good white noise) as beds were comfortable with heavy comforters. We'ld stay again! Canoe is a nice little community on water's edge."

"The breakfast is amazing. Huge assortment to choose from. Daily specials as well. The hostess at breakfast is extremely helpful and pleasant. We make sure we stay here every time we pass through Sicamous. The room, location, amenities are excellent!"

"Room was clean and fairly recently updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area is indoors and not ventilated so very humid and hot. It's within 75 feet of a busy railroad track so expect alot of train noise. Luckily we were exhausted and the A/C unit helped drown out the noise. The included breakfast was great, a real breakfast not continental. Walking distance to a Starbucks and a couple of restaurants."

"The property was lovely . Some suggestions to help my stay be more comfortable would be instructions for how to use air conditioner . A small table lamp or clock beside the bed would be helpful . Also a box of Kleenex so not having to use bathroom toilet paper . A small tv tray or table and one small comfortable chair would also be nice for times when too hot to comfortably sit outside . Also a window that could open for night cool air would be lovely ! Overall a nice little space for a place to sleep ."
