「Good hotel. If you drive to there based on Google Map, you better follow the main road instead of a muddy road recommend by Google. The hotel is near the old town (so as ZTL!) and just a 5 minutes walk. Montalcino old town get a lot of places to taste wine. Don't miss it!」

「Lovely greeting. Husband and wife run hotel. Beautifully clean. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in so far. Beautiful location. Amply parking. Breakfast has good options but nothing hot apart from toast. Still very tasty. We drove down to the local town. Plenty of restaurants etc. Pool and terrace over looking beautiful views. We recommend. 」

「This is such a wonderful hotel in the middle of the country to forget about everything and immerse into the real Tuscany. The food in the restaurant is excellent, their Manager Stefano is such a great guy and makes you feel as part of the family, his dog is adorable and all the staff is just incredible! We had the perfect summer vacation during the 4 days we spend in the property that we didn’t even went outside of it for a full day, just chilling in the pool and having a great time! Recommended...

「Holy cow the best stay I've ever experienced!!! We had a room right off the main lobby/breakfast area. It had a beautiful balcony that overlooked amazing hillsides surrounding Montepulciano. The staff were all so accommodating and sweet! Breakfast was delicious and fresh! The room was comfortable and super clean! We will definitely return here on our next visit!!! 」

「The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). 「Wonderful stay for our family of 4 at this delightful property at La Sovana, where the food is delicious, the staff and owners are welcoming, the views are breathtaking and the grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed playing tennis and walking around the grounds, the kids enjoyed the playground and of course the swimming pool was bliss for all. Truly one of our best holidays so far, we can't wait to be back」
