"Room is clean, staff is nice"

"For a night before a cruise this hotel was good; rooms are very small but adequate, located right next to Keelung night market an experience not to be missed food items you will never see in US , for access to cruise it is a short 10 minute walk to the terminal ( no taxi's as it is too close for them to make any money) even folks with a wheelchair easily accomplished this. Breakfast in basement is adequate and accomodates US travelers. Make sure your driver has the exact address as it is located among other storefronts on a busy street, not impressive outside but the staff are friendly; would stay here again!!! "

"It was a lovely view as we took the best room available. There are slightly smaller rooms also . The real challenge is that they do not speak english but the owner tried his best to help with booking taxis . However I would not recommend this hotel for Older people as climb up the stairs it tough though there is a slightly longer path if you take the route through the Jiufen visitor centre . It has a very nice cozy homely feeling and I would like to come back for sure . The breakfast at an addititional charge is highly recommended. Please remember not to carry heacy suitcases as recommended by the Hotel themselves in checking instructions . "

"Excellent property run by friendly and helpful staff - very near Jiufen Old Street (short Uber uphill, and walkable back from Jiufen), with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sea. Breakfast prepared by the staff was delicious. Will definitely book this property again on my next visit to Jiufen!"

"We had trouble with their small parking lot and our van. Ended up paying for parking in the city lot nearby instead. Room was fine, basic and certainly could have used some updating. The breakfast was an amazing variety of Chinese options. Location was awesome. "

"There are only 3 sockets. One is used for the fridge and the other for the TV. To charge your phone or whatever else you might need another socket for, tough luck. My wife said the tissue paper wasn’t great, I thought it was fine. Hotel receptionists aren’t friendly or helpful. One told my wife to Google what she wanted to know. The place is old, but for the price we can’t complain. Very convenient location and was fine for my wife and kids. "
