「We had a fabulous 1 night stay in Saumur and would haves loved to have made it 2 nights. The hotel experience was a big part of it - very special place. The AC was struggling a little with the heat, but we were comfortable.」

「We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. 」

「The setting was unique. Originally hundreds of years old stone farmhouse. Grounds were extensive with vegetation, creek and pond, ponies, goats, etc. And many birds for bird watching. Gourmet restaurant on the premises.」
