Rooms are smaaaall, as economy cruise ship small. Beds are hard. No top sheets. No wash cloths in the room. I requested to change rooms… not possible. I requested to cancel my additional 2 nights and they had no problem with that. “Weird” approach to customer service

While the hotel was beautiful, the AC in our room was broke. It was almost 80 degree. We reported it quickly after checking in. A technician came and looked at it. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Downtown - University by IHG
Room was fine but area was a block away from homeless shelter so lots of characters just lingering at night. The area is a little away from the main area of 6th street but felt sketchy walking to and from the hotel. Housekeeping came once in 4 days.
