The kids loved the pool, it was clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable and bathroom tidy. Had everything we needed for a quick stay. Surrounds and property are a bit run down but it didn’t affect our stay. Parking easy.

Very much enjoyed my stay here. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helped me carry my bags up to my room. My room was upgraded due to maintenance, the room was nice and spacious and suited my needs during my stay. It was also super close to the event I was attending over the weekend.

Good place to stay in Greenlane

Very ftiendly and forthcoming lady at reception, quiet night after noisy neighbour stopped yelling into her mobile phone. Bed good, pool clean, location good f restaurants or movie theatre or hospital visits.

Nice place, friendly staff and clean… only 2 towels per room normally there is one extra, no good water pressure in the toilet and there is not a lamp on the bedside table.

Overall we enjoyed our stay had a penthouse suite for concert at eden park with 4 beds in one open room. Facility is old but quaint. Room was very very hot even with aircon due to the roof style but had its own balcony. In need of some repair but would stay again for the price. Handy to eden park for reference.

Odd and dated, but convenient location

The hotel was conveniently located and priced for the reason we went to Auckland this time. We didn't check the pool area, so can only comment on the service and the room. Staff was friendly and polite. Room was spacious but considerably dated, could use renovations asap. The ceiling inside the room had odd painted windows, so as soon as sunrise, there was yellow or purple light everywhere in the room, inside the bathroom and even the closet. Noise from the busy road outside and the other rooms could also be heard at any time of day or night. Those factors could affect sleep quality and comfort.

We booked this motel over a year ago and it had great reviews. Over the last few months, I started noticing a few negative reviews and nit- picks. To be honest, we had no idea what to expect. What I can say is the following: -Staff are friendly and courteous -The beds are super comfortable -The room was clean and spacious. -The shower had awesome pressure, room had a lovely fan and a great wee kitchen with fridge, jug, toaster etc. It’s everything you need. Yes, it’s dated, but its location is fabulous. Under 4km to Mount Eden stadium, under 2km to the best malls. It’s affordable & I think the previous negative reviews were uncalled for. We have booked again for our next stay in 12 months. Thank you to the staff for a great stay.

Staff were lovely. Not worth what we paid for it. The room was super hot on arrival. Room was not very clean at all, scuff marks all over the walls, dirty light switches, spa bath started out nice but then as soon as we turned it on the jets had some kind of weird dirty stuff come out of them. Left air con on but that seemed to make the fire alarm beep every 10 seconds. Bed was not a king sized bed. No way to keep bathroom cool, toilet was super hot as it had been closed the whole time and there was no window. Loved that we had a balcony.
