I liked that the property had family amenities for my kids. What I didn’t like was that my room key was not working for most of the elevators and I had to keep getting a new one which was annoying.

They charge you for ocean view but its not real ocean view its a ocean side view, rooms has no carpeting just wooden like tile floor, smell of mold everywhere. Ver noisy in nights, dogs barks and people screams in hallways all night. They do not do room service if you are there for less than three day, Not food options at all during month of May. Parking is so far and $25/per day which is very expensive compare to other parking areas. No help or carts for luggage. I would not go again

The elevator situation was terrible. Not all of them were working and It took us 30 minutes plus each time we wanted to leave the room. They were always full over capacity. I was also over charged for the room. The room I booked wasn’t available due to renovations. Which is fine.. so I was downgraded. I already paid for the higher priced room on Expedia and when I got to the hotel it was $150 less in the total for the downgraded room but I was still charged $175 more upon arrival.

Location is great, otherwise it's awful. The entire hotel smells like weed. Awful service. Room was clean enough, but you'll deal with dirty carpet with burn holes. Stained curtains.. Eww. Def scummy motel clientele. Brace yourself.

My room was not ready until 4:40 despite arriving at 2. Elevators were scary and packed. No good food options. Couch bed had no sheets or blankets. No one picked up phone calls from room so we couldn’t get sheets unless we dared to ride the scary elevator. Fight going on in the room next door. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Never again.

I visited the ShowBoat a few times before this visit. I think it’s incredibly smart to focus on families and install an arcade, go karts, mini golf and indoor water park. However, I STRONGLY recommend that you stay in another hotel and walk over to enjoy the amenities. Everything about the hotel was old and it’s clear upgrades need to be made. The rooms are dated with damaged furniture, dusty carpeted floors and the bathroom was rusty.0 I’m mainly leaving this review to talk about the elevators and the hotel’s response. 2 of the 6 elevators were down by the time we got there, and this should’ve been a sign because my sister and I got trapped in another one for around 40 min with other patrons. The maintenance staff had to call the firefighters to help. When we finally got out, we were only met with one security guard to take down our information for an incident report. I find it really egregious that the Showboat’s response to their guests being stuck in an elevator to the point where emergency response needed to be called was nothing. No manager came to check in on us, no apologies were made, nothing. My sister suffers extreme claustrophobia and she refused to leave the room for the rest of the night. When we checked out the next morning, she insisted on walking down the 20 flights of stairs from our room. The hotel said there was nothing they could do because our room was “fine”. The hotel’s lack of response and responsibility confirmed I won’t be returning.

If I had young children, I would have loved it since it clearly is for young ones. The place was clean and in good condition. The floor I was in did have noisy guests. One thing that stressed me out was the parking payment. The notice in the parking deck gave the impression I had to pay right away even before I went to the room. The way it was worded was misleading.

Plenty of space and storage. The mattress on the sofa bed was not fit for dog to sleep on. The balcony was full of cigarette butts and bird poop. Not worth the money.

The hotel itself is nice and definitely geared for kids which is what we were looking for. The arcade is great for kids, clean, and actually not too expensive. The Island waterpark that is attached was really nice. Very clean and well kept, a lot of life guards that were extremely attentive. If you are looking for a quick night or something short to take your kids this would be the place. Overall the room was relatively clean, not top notch but not awful. And our room had 2 queens with extra room for bags and a bassinet for our baby. The bathroom was large. The negatives are the parking garage is a good distance from the hotel, not easy when you are trying to bring bags for 3 kids and 2 adults to the room. It is extremely hard to find luggage carts. The staff is not extremely helpful. Restaurants in the hotel are below par. The pizza place in the restaurant has good pizza but not much else. The boardwalk is rough, especially for kids. The beach is awful. Lots of junk in the sand, i.e. broken pieces of wood, nails, screws. If you’re looking for a short stay for the arcade and waterpark I would recommend this hotel, but anything outside of that I would not.

First, when choosing the room I picked the ocean front room with balcony and somehow I ended up in oceanview (from the side) room but wasn't the worst part. We were really looking forward to using the Jacuzzi, however, when we turned on the turbine a lot of flaky dirt came out, the tub was filled with that; it was disgusting.

This proty needs an updated. Very expensive to stay.You have to pay for everything. Took our daughter for part of her spring break to the water park. Stay at showboat and you have to pay for the parking. Water park, arcade all you have to for nothing is free. We stayed for four days. First we got there check in, went to the room. The room smell like smoke so i ask to change the room We got a different much better than then the first one. They didn't even come to the room too freshing it up. Its was very disappointed to stay there i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Double sinks were nice but the room phone didn’t have buttons and the TV remote didnt work. The cost for valet parking was way too high compared to other casinos.

The best feature about this property is the indoor arcade & race track and the indoor water park (I was unable to experience unfortunately). Dining options are very limited and the staff at the one diner located inside were rude and uprofessional. Staff will see you waiting to be seen but won't approach you to inform you how long to wait or what you're waiting for.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience at the property was less than stellar. It's really disappointing when you're excited about amenities like the indoor arcade and water park, only to find out that they weren't fully available or accessible during your stay. And encountering rude and unprofessional staff can really put a damper on the whole experience. It's frustrating when you're left waiting without any communication or acknowledgment from the staff. Your feedback is valuable, though, and hopefully, it'll prompt them to make some positive changes to ensure a better experience for future guests.

La estancia estuvo bien, solo una noche sin embargo encontramos detalles que hacen que no sea 5 estrellas. La habitación es grande pero nos dieron la planta 5 que apenas se ve el mar (vistas feas desde la ventana) cuando no estaba lleno el hotel y vimos que había muchas habitaciones en esa planta ocupadas, deberían hacer al revés empezar por las más altas. La luz de la entrada de la habitación no funcionaba aunque el resto si. Hay cafetera pero sin café solo dejan azúcar, lo cual no tiene mucho sentido. Resumen con un pelín de detalles mejorarían mucho la experiencia. El personal muy amable. Tampoco sé si pagaría un resort si vuelvo a atlantic city fuera de temporada, la parte de la playa del hotel estaba cerrada y dar al paseo es un plus pero quizás sobrevalorado. Desde la estación de tren hay un suttle gratis que te lleva y trae al hotel coincidiendo con los horarios del tren, muy recomendable. A los outlets hay que ir pronto porque cierran tipo 18-19. También queríamos visitar el faro pero no pudimos porque cierran martes y miércoles (recomendamos mirarlo antes). El faro está cerca del hotel caminando.

You can't reach the front desk, not enough towels, fridge wasn't working, broken dresser, floor was dirty, AC wasn't working, just to name a few. The hotel needs a whole makeover and more staff.
