we had a beautiful room with the balcony, it was heavenly!! Love this place!! Best advice, if you book on expedia when you check in go to the VIP check in, you do not have to stand for hours at the regular check in desk.

I loved that this was a kid friendly establishment but not to have a swimming pool was upsetting to my children. The rooms are dim and need to be renovated but at least the carpets did not hold any odors. Staff was friendly and helpful….

Rooms were very clean. There is so much to do on the property, we went on a rainy day and were happy that we didn’t need to leave the hotel to have so many things to do. Check in was also really easy we showed up around midnight and there was still plenty of staff to check us in and answer questions. If i could suggest anything bring a case of water with you. Water in the vending machines was out and it was really expensive to get it anywhere else in the hotel.

If you aren’t staying long then this hotel is good. It has a few great things about it. We loved the arcade and the boardwalk being in front of the hotel and the fact that they have an indoor water park. But the hallways upstairs smell like weed because everyone is smoking even the ones with kids. Some of the features are very outdated. The carpet is old and stained. And the advertise an indoor pool but they mean you pay extra for the water park where the pool is and parking is extra. There aren’t any real deals for the food or park. The kids liked it so I was ok with.

When I first got there they had me in King. I booked 2 Queens. When I went to tell the front desk the lady seemed to have a attitude. Then when they switched my room it smelled like pee. I was so disappointed 😞 😞. Although the arcade and Waterpark was fun.

It took two hours of standing in line to be able to check in to our hotel, and there was no microwave in our room so there was no way to heat up left over food. The biggest issue for me was that I have celiac disease and not one restaurant in the entire resort was knowledgeable about gluten free options or what gluten even is. Only one person was helpful my entire stay, the rest of the staff just told me no and to go on the boardwalk or door dash. The arcade and all of the kids stuff was really cool though, my kids had a blast. My daughter especially loved the roller skating rink and the location of the resort was perfect. Would definitely go back for an hour or two visit but would not actually stay there again.

We somewhat enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location. The hotel is very close to the beach, and that was one of the main reasons we chose it. The water park and the large amusement area were great for kids, and my family had a really fun time. If you’re traveling with children, the location and attractions are definitely a big advantage. The room was okay. We booked a room with two twin beds. The furniture is quite old, and the carpet had an unpleasant smell that reminded us of urine throughout our stay. We also requested a microwave for our room, but it wasn’t delivered until the next day. The room phone didn’t work, so it was difficult to contact the front desk when we needed something. When we booked, we were told there would be a coffee maker in the room, but there wasn’t one. Overall, this is not a luxury hotel. It is older and could use some updates, but the price is reasonable for what you get. The biggest advantage is its excellent location and the family-friendly attractions nearby.

We stayed at Showboat in Atlantic City over the weekend so we could attend a concert. Since they had an indoor water park, we decided to stay there. I like the fact that this hotel does not have a casino, since we don't gamble. This place was more like a family-based hotel. We stayed at Bourbon Tower, which overlooked the Ocean, so we had a good overall nice room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night to go to a concert and left the next day, so I really did not experience many issues. It's nice that the parking lot, indoor waterpark, and boardwalk are all connected. It's nice that we had a little short walk to the free beach as well. (Atlantic might be the only free beach in NJ?). I would come back here again. We stayed in Showboat a long time ago, where they had a good buffet that no longer exists. Only thing I would complain about is that when we checked out of the hotel around 11 am, the only way to go to the parking lot on the upper floor was using the elevator, and there was so many people waiting for elevator to go there so we wind up waiting about 20 minutes to go up and they have no way for anyone to go up with stairs from outside. They also charged us $50 to check in early, since they don't check in until 4 pm. Overall good hotel, but I next time I will check out little early and make sure to do something else before we get to hotel at 4pm.

This property is in need of a complete renovation. Amusement park feel . Rooms are outdated, and need to be brought up to date. The one bedroom suite was spacious. Bed was somewhat comfortable. Refrigerator had to be defrosted , wasn’t able to charge devices since no charging docs available in the rooms. Outdated decor, with a damp Oder. Peeling counter top on the island in the kitchenette, Dim lighting in the bathroom. Room airconditioning in the room was great. Set at 67 degrees, though the hallways were rather warm and felt there were no air conditioning at all in the elevators . The ice machines located on all floors do not work. There are only a few that work. No pool for guests staying at the hotel, was supposed to be on the 5th floor but closed years ago. There is a pool at the water park located at the hotel for an additional fee. This property is good for families with children as it has the water park , games, a roller rink, and go cart track which are of additional cost. My take away is, if you are looking for a no frills get away that is geared towards children, or if you are in your early twenties looking to stay with your friends in a family suite , since it’s fairly priced, and casino hop, it’s a good choice , but if you are looking for a sophisticated adult , romantic overnight, weekend getaway that feels luxurious and special, this is not the place for that. Better off spending the extra cost and stay next door at the Ocean.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall, we had a good experience and genuinely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is comfortable, and the renovated rooms are modern and very nice. Based on our overall experience, I would stay here again. There are a few areas that could definitely be improved. The hotel does not include many basic amenities—not even complimentary water—which is something guests should keep in mind. The ice machine on the 12th floor, where our rooms were located, was not working, so we had to go down to the 11th floor for ice. This was a minor inconvenience and did not make a major difference in our overall stay. We had connecting rooms, 1216 and 1218. Room 1218, the king room where my husband and I stayed, had a beautiful and spotless bathroom and was very comfortable. However, in room 1216, where my son was staying, the curtains appeared dirty and had what looked like mold or mildew stains. This was definitely concerning and something we did not like at all. Housekeeping or management should pay closer attention to details like this, especially in renovated rooms. The luggage assistance service also needs significant improvement. The process of having luggage picked up and delivered to the room was inefficient and did not meet our expectations. Valet parking and daily parking are extremely expensive. Additionally, the parking staff are very strict about collecting payment immediately when the vehicle is dropped off. Payment cannot simply be added or handled at checkout
