"I recently stayed at the Hotel Monteleone and unfortunately the experience did not fully meet the expectations I had for a hotel of this caliber and price point. The water pressure in the morning was extremely low, making it very difficult to shower. When we attempted to shower at night, the water temperature was hard to control and became extremely hot. I’ve always heard wonderful things about this historic property, which is why this was disappointing. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location, but these basic room issues impacted our stay. I hope the management team looks into this and addresses it so future guests can have the level of comfort and experience the hotel is known for."

"Staff at the front desk one of the ladies working on Friday afternoon was very rude. I Will not be returning, the room looked like a motel room not a hotel room. I had to stay at this hotel for the St Patrick’s parade.Otherwise would have definitely stayed at the Ritz Carlton. "

"Stayed four nights for the New Orleans Book Festival. Easy one mile walk to Tulane campus. Charming mid century decor that tries to make up for the concrete block. Unheated swimming pool. Decent lobby coffee. Creaky elevator and leaky shower. View of hospital parking garage from balcony and loud industrial noises. Two blocks to restaurants and shops on Freret (try The Husky and Humble Bagel). Good choice if you prefer a neighborhood hotel, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. "

"The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was with the hvac system in our room. It was extremely noisy and difficult to sleep with it."
