"Our family loved everything about Pyramid Lake Lodge and would definitely go back. We loved the friendly staff and helpful service and took advantage of most of the amenities that it had to offer such as the complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot tub, and laundry room. The restaurant was beautiful and the meals were delicious. We loved the setting on the lake and Pyramid mountain was my favourite out of any of the site-seeing that we did. We loved that Jasper was only a few short kilometres away and that there were a variety of hiking trails right on site. The morning that we left we woke early to catch the sunrise and beautiful reflections of the mountains on the lake and finished off our stay with canoeing and kayaking that are available on site."
"Accommodations were fine. It was clean and maintained but obviously on the older side. New tub surround in bathroom was nice. No air conditioning. Easy walk to all local amenities."
"We had a fantastic stay at Pine Bungalows and would highly recommend it. Our cabin was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had beautiful views of the pine forest and the stunning Athabasca River right outside.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly seeing a group of elk wandering right up to the cabins on our first evening. It was an incredible experience, and we learned that they live in the surrounding woods. We didn’t see them again during the following three nights, though, so don’t count on it – they’re wild animals and, of course, completely unpredictable!
We also enjoyed dining at Kumama Canteen. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. The outdoor fire pit was another great touch – we received a complimentary bag of firewood, and we had great fun making s’mores using a kit purchased from Kumama shop.
The location is excellent: just a 10-minute drive from Jasper, while also being perfectly situated for exploring the area’s many attractions. Overall, Pine Bungalows offered a wonderful combination of comfort, nature, and memorable experiences, and we’d happily stay there again."
"Nice hotel. Restaurant had great food. Room was clean and quiet.
Clean and well maintained
The only disappointment was the lack of parking spaces.
I would stay there again"
"Property in good location undergoing renovation. Alpine wing that I stayed in was renovated. Kitchenette was excellent with toaster, oven, microwave and dishwasher as well as utensils. Front desk was warm and informative. But, housekeeping did not make bed in several of our rooms. Also several amenities such as laundry, pool, fitness not available on site but was available at sister properties which was not convenient. Starbucks close by was a plus for quick breakfast."
"No elevator (as this place was built in 1925) but clean and some things updated. The fridge does not include a freezer, and it is a tiny shower room. However, amenities were provided such as coffee and soaps. You are going to be outside most of the time anyway, and the location can't be beat."
